The Staff of our Centre participates in organizing congresses of the Polish Osteoarthrology Society and Polish Foundation of Osteoporosis. These congresses have been taking place every two years in Krakow since 1994. In the last congress, organized under the auspices of International Osteoporosis Foundation – the I Central European Congress on Osteoporosis and Osteoarthritis and the XIII Congress of the Polish Osteoarthrology Society and Polish Foundation of Osteoporosis, which was held from 6th to 8th Oct 2005 in Krakow, participated over 800 people from 20 countries. The President of Poland was the honoured patron of that event.
The next Congress – III Congress on Osteoporosis and Osteoarthritis is planned to take place from 24th until 26th September 2009. More<<
Together with the team, Prof. E. Czerwiński prepares scientific reports which are presented around the world (322 publications).
We publish a significant number of books and articles both for doctors and patients.
On Prof. E. Czerwiński own initiative, we founded the Polish Portal of Osteoporosis (www.osteoporoza.org), offering full service for doctors, patients and pharmaceutical companies.
