The Staff of our Centre participates in organizing congresses of the Polish Osteoarthrology Society and Polish Foundation of Osteoporosis. These congresses have been taking place every two years in Krakow since 1994.
The I Central European Congress on Osteoporosis and Osteoarthritis and the XIII Congress of the Polish Osteoarthrology Society and Polish Foundation of Osteoporosis, which was held from 6th to 8th Oct 2005 in Krakow, organized under the auspices of International Osteoporosis Foundation – participated over 800 people from 20 countries. The President of Poland was the honoured patron of that event.
The II Central European Congress on Osteoporosis and Osteoarthritis and the XIV Congress of the Polish Osteoarthrology Society and Polish Foundation of Osteoporosis, was held from 11th to 13h Oct 2007 in Krakow.
The III Central European Congress on Osteoporosis and Osteoarthritis and the XV Congress of the Polish Osteoarthrology Society and Polish Foundation of Osteoporosis, was held from 25th to 27th September 2009.
The next Congress is planned to take place from 29th September until 1st Oct 2011. More<<
Together with the team, Prof. E. Czerwiński prepares scientific reports which are presented around the world (368 publications).
We publish a significant number of books and articles both for doctors and patients.
On Prof. E. Czerwiński own initiative, we founded the Polish Portal of Osteoporosis (www.osteoporoza.pl), offering full service for doctors, patients and pharmaceutical companies.
